Tim has nearly 30 years international marketing experience including direct pharmaceutical industry experience based on his time at Bayer Corporation as a product manager on Cipro. In that role he was closely involved with the launching of both new indications and new formulations of Cipro.
In addition, Tim has extensive opinion leader development skills based on his coordination of three advisory boards at Bayer, and in his subsequent position as Vice President of the group that organizes and operates the GOLD, GINA and ARIA initiatives. Tim’s work with these initiatives included close cooperation with the collaborating groups (World Health Organization, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute) and the sponsoring pharmaceutical companies.
On the agency side of the business, Tim has over 15 years experience including 5 years as Director of Creative Services for the US market at PAREXEL MMS. He has extensive background in operational marketing to provide clients with creative and innovative approaches to medical marketing. He has broad international marketing experience in publication planning, branding development, themed meetings and events, designing and operating exhibits, and conveying marketing concepts through various multimedia methods.
Recently, Tim was responsible for the development and execution of the HIV – Drug Resistance Initiative as well as the Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus Initiative (see LINKS section of this site) on behalf of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
